Riding to raise awareness and fund help for those who suffer

Depression Doesn't Ride, wants to spread the message of hope and compassion. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world. Through advocacy and outreach activities, we wish to raise money and create more access to and better care for those who suffer from the effects of depression, addiction and suicide.

"Depression Doesn't Ride is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that came out of the loss of my father, Tim Boylan, who died by suicide after a long struggle with addiction and depression. It is my hope to help find new  treatments and assistance for all those who suffer and to help families stay together."

Covid-19 has continued to change our world. So many have been affected by this pandemic in traumatic ways. Now more then ever there is a need to support groups and organizations that provide mental health services for people who struggle with life's challenges. This is our call to action. This is our time to come together and support those suffering with depression, anxiety, addiction and suicidal thoughts. The fallout from Covid-19 with social distancing, grave illness and personal losses will continue to impact so many in our society, we must prepare for a greater demand on social and emotional supports. Please give whatever you can. Every little bit put together can make a big impact.Thank you for supporting Depression Doesn't Ride, a non profit organization 501(c)(3)

Reaching the community

Each year I participate in events highlighting depression and suicide to help break down the stigma around these issues. I also hold a annual charity bike ride that started with friends and family and has grown to include a larger community of concerned people.
Eliminating shame is one of the most important things we can do to battle the disease of depression because shame kills.  So, we show up with our heads held high ready to do our part and support one another.  I am hoping for your support.  Money raised will go towards depression research and suicide prevention.

We will continue to update this website with when and where there will be events we are partnering in and ways for you to contribute.
